Risk Overview

Creating a risk

  1. Locate your project from either the sidebar or the home screen

  2. Click on your desired project and click risks on the sidebar

Create risk from Detail View

  1. Click on the green "+" icon located in the top navigation.

  2. Provide a name for the risk you wish to create.

  3. Enter a detailed description of the risk, outlining its nature and potential consequences.

  4. Select the appropriate state for the risk from the dropdown menu (e.g. active, resolved, closed).

  5. Add relevant tags to the risk, such as the project phase or department responsible for the risk.

  6. Assign a probability score to the risk, indicating the likelihood of it occurring.

  7. Assign an impact score to the risk, outlining the severity of its potential consequences.

  8. Specify the Date Raised for the risk, noting when it was first identified or reported.

  9. Assign a Trigger date for the risk, which marks when the risk is expected to occur or become a more significant issue.

  10. Once all the required details have been entered, click the "Save Risk" button located in the top bar to create the risk in the system.

Create risk from Grid View

  1. Click into the first cell under the name header

  2. Provide a name for the risk you wish to create.

  3. Enter a detailed description of the risk, outlining its nature and potential consequences.

  4. Select the appropriate state for the risk from the dropdown menu (e.g. active, resolved, closed).

  5. Add relevant tags to the risk, such as the project phase or department responsible for the risk.

  6. Assign a probability score to the risk, indicating the likelihood of it occurring.

  7. Assign an impact score to the risk, outlining the severity of its potential consequences.

  8. Specify the Date Raised for the risk, noting when it was first identified or reported.

  9. Assign a Trigger date for the risk, which marks when the risk is expected to occur or become a more significant issue.

  10. Once all the required details have been entered, click the "Save Risk" button located in the top bar to create the risk in the system.

  11. Click off of the cell or select another risk to automatically save the grid.

The grid will save automatically when you click off of the risk, cell, or grid

Editing your risk details

On the home screen:

  1. Browse the grid to find the project containing the risk you want to edit.

  2. Click on the project to access the project overview module.

  3. Locate the risk section on the sidebar or tab navigation at the bottom and identify the specific risk you want to update.

  4. Click on the risk to view its details.

  5. Click on the desired field within the risk details that you wish to modify.

  6. Make the necessary changes to the field.

  7. To save the changes, either click outside of the field or click into another field. The changes will be automatically saved.

Converting a risk to an issue

To convert a risk to an issue within RAIDLOG.com, follow these steps:

  1. Access the risk details page for the risk you wish to convert.

  2. Locate the "Convert risk to issue" button and click on it.

  3. The system will mark the risk as converted, and it will become uneditable.

  4. You will see that the risk has been copied and created an issue on your project with the same information as the original risk.

Deleting a risk

To delete a risk associated with a project in RAIDLOG.com, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the project you want to delete the risk from in the sidebar.

  2. Click on the project from the list to access the project details.

  3. Click on the "Risks" tab to view the list of risks associated with the project.

  4. Locate and click on the risk you wish to delete.

  5. In the top navigation bar, click on the three dots icon.

  6. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.

  7. A confirmation prompt will appear, warning that the risk and its associated information will be deleted.

  8. Click the orange "Delete" button to confirm the deletion of the risk.
